WE ARE COMMITTED TO MAINTAINING YOUR PRIVACY. PLEASE READ ALL THE TERMS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY SO THAT YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT TYPE OF PERSONAL AND OTHER INFORMATION IS COLLECTED, HOW IT IS COLLECTED AND USED AND TO WHOM IT MAY BE DISCLOSED WHEN YOU USE OUR APPLICATION OR OUR SERVICES.

This privacy policy (the "Privacy Policy”) explains the privacy practices of Okra Media Inc., a Montreal-based company ("Okra Media”, "we”, "us” or "our”) that apply to (i) the use of our unique and proprietary Contobox™ application (the "Technology”) and (i) the provision of premium content advertising materials we provide (the "Services”). This Privacy Policy must be read together with the Terms of Use which are a legal agreement between you and Okra Media for the use of the Application and the provision of the Services.

• Our Services. With our proprietary technology, we provide targeted advertisements and promotional materials (text, photos, audio/music, videos) that may involve social media tools and services, such as social feeds and Movies Showtimes (the "Ads”). Ads are placed on partner websites. By using the Application, you understand and expressly agree that (i) the advertisers using our Application to place Ads on partner websites (the "Advertisers”) or the providers of social medial tools and services have no connection (legal, financial or otherwise) with Okra Media, and (ii) at no time will Okra Media be responsible for any products, services or lack thereof, that the Advertisers or the Social Media Providers may provide you.
• Your Consent and Agreement. BY ACCESSING OR USING THE APPLICATION AND THE SERVICES:
  • YOU CONSENT TO OKRA MEDIA'S, COLLECTION, USE AND DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS PRIVACY POLICY (AS AMENDED FROM TIME TO TIME) AND AS PERMITTED OR REQUIRED BY LAW.
  • YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT YOU ARE AND WILL BE SUBJECT TO THE ADVERTISERS PRIVACY POLICIES AND PRACTICES WHEN YOU SUBMIT PERSONAL AND OTHER INFORMATION THROUGH THE APPLICATION. THUS, WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO READ ALL OF THEIR RELEVANT PRIVACY POLICIES AND PRACTICES AND MAKE ALL RELEVANT ENQUIRIES WITH THEM BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR PERSONAL AND OTHER INFORMATION TO THEM THROUGH THE APPLICATION. OKRA MEDIA HAS NO CONTROL OVER SUCH PRIVACY POLICIES AND PRACTICES AND ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ACTS OR OMISSIONS OF THE ADVERTISERS AND THE SOCIAL MEDIA PROVIDERS.
  • If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, do not provide any personal information or use the Application or the Services. You can withdraw your consent at any time by following the instructions described below in the Section "Questions?”. We may from time to time modify this Privacy Policy, so we encourage you to review it periodically.
• Collection, Use and Disclosure of Usage Information by Okra Media.
  • When you use our Application and the Services, we collect the following usage information: your IP address, the domain name and URL where the Application appeared, the time of serving Ad, the time and type of interaction with the Ad (click, mouse wheel etc.) and your browser version (if you interact with the Ad) (collectively, the "Usage Information”). Usage Information is not linked to you as an individual and is not usually regarded as personal information. Also, there is no link between Usage Information and Personal Information (as defined below) that may be collected by Advertisers or Social Media Providers. We do not collect any personal or other information on behalf of Advertisers and/or Social Media Providers.
  • We use your Usage Information to optimize the Services we provide to you, including to better target the Ads and other content that appear on the Application.
  • We do not perform any retargeting or interest-based advertising by storing cookies on your computer or mobile device.
  • Following cookies might be stored and accessed on your computer or mobile device while accessing our advertising units:

    Please note that this will usually only remove any cookies currently installed on your device; you must also change your browser settings (above) if you wish to prevent cookies being installed in future. Please be aware that deleting cookies already stored on your device may impact on the usability of our ad units.
  • We do not share any Usage Information with any third parties except with:
    • [service providers that facilitate our Services or provide any or all part of the Services on our behalf or help us improve the Services (for example, data storage and maintenance service providers); these services providers have access to Usage Information only for purposes of performing these tasks on our behalf. You acknowledge that our service providers may be located in jurisdictions where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your home province, state, country or other governmental jurisdiction; and]
    • law enforcement officials or governmental agencies (i) in response to their request; (ii) when permitted or required by law; or (iii) to establish our compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, or guidelines.
  • In addition, if Okra Media merges with another company, is subject to a corporate reorganization, sells or transfers all or part of its business, assets or shares, or in the event of bankruptcy, it is possible that the Usage Information we possess may be sold, transferred or otherwise shared as part of that transaction. Also, we may decide to retain a copy of such Usage Information post transaction.
• Collection, Use and Disclosure of Personal Information by Advertisers.
  • Advertisers may, through Ads or other applications/tools and services that are displayed through the Application, collect personal and other information (such as your name, address or email address) when you fulfil a registration form, sign up to receive news about a product or a service, participate in a contest etc. (collectively, "Personal Information”).
  • Personal Information may be used by Advertisers for various purposes and may be shared to third parties, including third parties that are located in jurisdictions where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your home province, state, country or other governmental jurisdiction. Okra Media has no connection (legal, financial or otherwise) with Advertisers; and we do not review (i) the privacy policies or practices of Advertisers that [may/are] displayed on the Application (including by way of a link) or (ii) the scope of Advertiser's' collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information. Thus, at no time will Okra Media be responsible for any such collection, use or disclosure.

  BEFORE SUBMITTING ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO ADVERTISERS OR SOCIAL MEDIA PROVIDERS, WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO READ ALL RELEVANT PRIVACY POLICIES AND MAKE ALL RELEVANT ENQUIRIES WITH THEM SO THAT YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE TO THEIR PRIVACY PRACTICES BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THEM THROUGH THE APPLICATION.

• Editing or Correcting Your Information. You should advise us if you believe that any information that you provided to us is inaccurate and you have the right (i) to ask for such information to be corrected or updated and (ii) to withdraw your consent to the use of your information. To do so, please contact us at support@okramedia.com. As a result, you may not be able to use certain or all of our Services.
• Security. We restrict access to your information to Okra Media's employees and agents who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Application and/or Services. We make commercially reasonable efforts to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of your information under our control. To help protect the confidentiality of your information, we take appropriate security measures (including physical security measures) and we operate secure data networks protected by industry standard firewall and password protection systems. Nevertheless, such security measures cannot prevent all loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information and we are not responsible for any damages or liabilities relating to any such incidents.
• Limitation of Liability. YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE OVER PRIVACY IS SUBJECT TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY, AS WELL AS THE TERMS OF USE FOR THE APPLICATION AND THE SERVICES (INCLUDING THE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY PROVISIONS).

• Language. The parties hereto acknowledge having expressly required that this Privacy Policy be drawn up in the English language.
